It’s never too late to wish all Muslims, Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha.
Feeling the difference this year. Most of my family members are not here to celebrate this festive occasion.
To begin with, my Abah , who is right now in Makkah in the process to complete the pilgrimage. So is cik Jah and family.
Cik Som and family went off to Sarawak for their holiday…. A very last minute holiday trip. Oh how much I wish I can do that too!! Just pack things up and off me go ~ somewhere nice for a short getaway…. Ermm wish and wish and wish~~
Abah called yesterday morning , to wish me and family. Ohh my, he sounded so near but yet so far. He is constantly asking whether I am doing okay here. No worries, Abah. Your darling daughter is doing just fine. She has her mak, aunties, cousins and close friends caring for her. Just do keep me in your prayers ok …
Oh yes, I was really filled up to the brim and bloated with so much fun and joy yesterday.
As always, this will be a family gathering accompanied with so much good food and goodies.
Not forgetting, our dose of entertainment by Aisya and Asma, never fail to charm us with their cute cheekiness.
Aisya with her cute pout.. {“siapa yang ajar eh ?”} and Asma , the munch-munch baby with the sweet-cheeky smile, ohh my , that’s really priceless.
Continued the evening at Ritzni and Lynn’s humble abode in Sengkang. A nice place surrounded by nice and fun-loving couple with their adorable and charming lil one, Ryann. Thanks both for the gracious welcome.
Not forgetting, thanks to you too , my dear for bringing me along.
Ended the day with a nice dinner , together with their cousins @ Mad Jack’s.
Compliment from Ritzni and Lynn. Gracias Mucho~
So you see, happy happy~What more can I ask for….

The Secret Language of Roses
Do you know there are messages behind different colors of roses?
This was started by the Romans and used in the Victorian era as a discreet way to express one's feelings to another.
Red roses have always meant love-deep, passionate, ever lasting love.
White roses symbolize purity and brightness.
A mixed bouquet of red and white roses symbolizes unity.
Pink roses have several messages, depending on the shade.
Deep pink roses symbolize gratitude and respect, while light pink roses show sympathy.
Yellow roses on the other hand symbolize friendship and caring
orange roses symbolize new beginnings, perhaps explaining why they are an increasingly popular selection for bridal bouquets!
If you receive a deep burgundy rose, someone is telling you they think you more beautiful than you realize.
The more exotic rose colors also have meanings. For example, green roses represent fertility
Blue roses are symbol of mystery and intrigue.
Purple roses signify enchantment and love at first sight.
Black roses, not surprisingly, represent death, and perhaps more surprisingly, new beginnings.
It's not just the colors of roses that speak volumes; it's also the way they are presented. If you receive a bouquet of unopened roses, it is a symbol of youth and innocent love. If they are all white, someone is telling you they love you but you are too young
A mix of red and pink buds means you are youthful and beautiful.
If you receive a fully opened rose with two rosebuds, someone has a secret!
If you receive a red rose and several yellow roses, you are being invited to join in the fun!
A crown of roses symbolizes virtue and is often used at weddings as such, especially in the Greek Orthodox religion.Even the leaves of a rose have a message. They symbolize hope and optimism.
They say a picture is worth a thousands words, but a bouquet of roses can speak volumes more!
I love roses. They are fragrant, elegant, and beautiful. Besides that, they have many meanings to their colours.
Still vividly remembered, my mak used to grow roses when we were still staying at Bedok North. That was when my Abah was still together with us. She will care so much for her plants especially the roses and whenever my Abah is off , he will be the one watering and care for the roses. Then the mischievous me, will pluck one or two roses and place it on my dressing table or will just simply play with it together with my neighbour friends. My Abah or mak upon realising it, of course gave me a black face.. Hehe ! So much fun then....Ever since then, my mak lose interest to grow any plants @ home. It must have been me lah. Hurhurhur
Oh ya , something my mak said the other day, really got me giggling for a few moments .Even now when I recalled that, I will still giggle. When I gave her share of some of the Taka vouchers that I had received, told her that this will be her bonus. She gave me a big grin and with her cute face , she thanked me and asked me when we shall go shopping.. hehe. Then she said "love you too" ????? I was like, when did I say "love you" ? hurhrurhurhru ... When people are excited, they will be unaware of what they say and will just blabber anything.. Heheh .. Mak, mak!!

Thanks Abg Wan and Kak Yam for the movie treat. Wah! That was our very first movie trip together gether after so long. Heartfelt thanks for the invitation :) We should have more gatherings and outings with the cuzzies more often eh...
Though the movie , the golden compass is not-easy-to-understand initially and had so many boo-reviews, I still enjoyed it.
The best part of the day is when I get to see my 2 cupcakes. WEEEEeeeeee~~
