Sinaran mata
Cerita segalanya
Duka lara terpendam
Memori semalam
Tinggal segala cinta
Tiada kembalinya
Lama dikasih kita
Kau bawa bersama….
Mimpi indah mekar
Saat cinta bersemi
Sedetik asmara syurga
Selamanya….

Pergilah rinduku
Hilangkan dirimu
Tak sanggup menanggung
Derita dikalbuku
Pergilah sayangku
Bermula semula
Semangat cintaku
Membara kerana dia
Tiada niatku
Tersemat dijiwa
Setia bersamanya
Cinta murni berdua
Beribu teguhnya
Mimpi indah mekar
Saat cinta bersemi
Sedetik asmara syurga
Selamanya….

Pergilah sayangku
Bermula semula
Semangat cintaku
Membara kerana dia
Tiada niatku
Maafkan aku duhai kasih
Izinkan ku pergi

~Beautifully sung by Kaer~

Ive been running this song on repeat mode.
It somehow similar to what I want that someone to know. How I wish that someone reads my blog. Then that someone will know that I really meant what I said. That , that someone will take me seriously and take his leave.

Turn up the inner volume

Life is continually presenting me with more and more challenges causing the external noise of “trying to make it” became deafening and began to cover up the beautiful music inside me. Which , at times, I felt I could handle. I let myself to become a part of the infamous rat race, the put downs of difficult bosses and people.

You know, sometimes, the person that you least expect to help you, will be there just when you need someone.

What was said , I truly agree and accepted. I do have to turn up this inner music.
Its somewhat similar to the story of the golden Buddha.

Was reading this book on my way to work yesterday and it caught my attention. Before this , I have not come across this story of the golden Buddha.
Back in Thailand , there was once a big clay statue of a smiling Buddha. In the 1950s, the monks staying nearby were told to relocate the statue to give way to a new highway.
They arranged for it to be lifted by a crane and as they raise the giant statue , they were taken by surprise by the unexpected weight. They quickly set it down when they begin to feel the statue beginning to crack. They hurriedly cover it with a canvas as it started to pour.
That night, the head monk came out to check on the statue. As he shined his flashlight on the crack, something caught his eye. Curious, he went to get a hammer and chisel. Carefully he chipped away a small section around the crack and was taken aback.
He called up all the other monks and they began to chip away.
And there stood before them, a solid gold Buddha.

So many of us, that includes me, as we grew up, our golden essence get plastered over like the clay covering the Buddha.
Overtime, it can become so thick that our inner self become completely hidden and the inner music tuned down.

Now, as being suggested by her, I have to :

1. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Taking one day at a time. Once a while, switch off everything and give yourself a break. Get away from everything and be only with yourself. Then you will start to listen to your inner music and get to know yourself better.

2. Practice emotional self-care. Ask for a hug, if you are fortunate to have a loved one around.

3. Expand your social circle. Create a hang out group where you can discuss anything under the sun. With whom , you can spend time with when you just want to get away from family, work or business.

4. Do what you love to do. Helping people that you love is the best way to show them your love. You have to give before you can receive w/o having high expectancy of any returns.

5. Find that missing piece to strike the balance of my life.

I will try my best then to start hammering and chiseling the clay that has been plastered all over me. Hehe

Last but not least, Im missing Him.

A rich life?

“Living a rich life” may sometimes be confusing for many, including me.
I don’t mean being rich just to keep on living .
But rather living a meaningful life.

For many days and nights, I have been pondering on this. What am I contributing to the world? What's in it for me? How will what I do contribute to a better world? How can my life today continue to send a ripple of harmony, upliftment, improvement or growth out into the world around me?
Yes, I am traveling through the road of making a difference in other people’s lives and moving towards being significant. But am I able to make it on time?
I can think of nothing worse than lying on my deathbed looking back over my life and seeing that I failed to leave anything behind.
The tremors that I experienced yesterday, really caught me there.
What if it really shook all of us here on these terribly small island?

There’s a stinging feel that shook me from my slumber.
I have been “sleeping” and still half-rooted in my comfort zone.
Need a bit more “pull” to get me rooted off from this comfort zone of mine.

Of course, all of us want to look back and be proud of our lives. We all want to look back and be proud of our lives.

At lunch today, a colleague of mine, whom i have always look up upon to, shared this with me.
As soon as you stop doing what you hate and start doing what you love, you may find your life more meaningful and fulfilling. Just like those rich people. They really slogged their way through to earn a handsome retirement and then they will start focusing on something that they really love doing or passionate about. Spending the other half of their life doing what they love before they depart from this world.
There is something for them to look back on and be proud of.
A legacy left for their future generations to come.
So it all starts with making the decision I guess.
Once you decide to do it, work for it, you will get it.
